November Decorating Tips With Candles

Share
With the holiday season just around the corner, it's time to get a jump start on creating a festive home decor. The last thing you want to do is wait until the last minute and end up running around like a "turkey" with its head cut off. So start now, Thanksgiving decorations are out in stores, even Christmas items are already on display. And if you are having trouble coming up with ideas, we have a few that will add a festive touch and you can keep up all through the holidays.

If you are looking for a new take on candle holders, consider a glass jar and acorns. You can purchase acorns at a store or walk outside a find some for yourself. Combine them with the deep rich colors of the holidays and you have a rustic look that will last until Christmas.
Adding water to a candle holder brings a touch of subtle elegance to your home decor but adding something to that water can really make everything pop. Try cranberries, a staple of Thanksgiving and the bright red color obviously works in December as well.

A real treat for the senses and a festive look for the season, cinnamon sticks add a rustic look and smell great too. Just line the sticks around your candle of choice and use string to tie them together. If you're lucky the sweet smell of cinnamon will float through your home and bring the holiday season to life.

Try these three simple and inexpensive ideas in your home for the holiday season. Using some decorative shelves to place your festive candle creations on will make a great display. Happy start to the holidays!!!
